Trophy Awarded to Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2004

At the Casino Awards held in Christchurch on Thursday 28th October the Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2004 was awarded the trophy for the top Sauvignon Blanc.
83 Sauvignon Blanc were entered in this competition. Saint Clair headed off competition from three other gold medalists, Matua Valley, Shingle Peak and Highfield Estate to win the top award.
“This latest awards endorses the excellent quality of the 2004 vintage for Saint Clair Sauvignon Blanc. We were careful with our vineyard management not to overcrop and to maintain high quality fruit with lots of flavour intensity ”, says Neal Ibbotson, Managing Director.
